6 Life Lessons About Your Health: Eat Fresh Healthy Foods

Whether you are trying to lose weight, tone up, get fit or even fight or prevent disease the best to achieve your goal is through daily exercise and healthy eating.  However, for too often people take on these new habits for only a short period of time and then go back to their old and unhealthy habits once they have achieved their goals.  The result of going back to your old habits is your body changing back to it old looks and functioning, meaning that you will gain the weight back and put yourself back at risk for disease and illness.

Achieving your health goal should be a lifestyle change and it should be a lifelong change.  Adopt these new and healthy habits as a way of life and not as a short term solution to your long term problem.  A great way to make the change is to stock your home with more fresh and healthy food and get rid of the unhealthy stuff.  You can only eat what is available to you, and if bananas are now where the muffins used to be you will find yourself reaching for the banana when you are hungry.  Change up your 2% milk for skim milk, switch out the white bread for whole wheat.  These simple changes will make huge differences in your overall health and body weight.
