1018

Throughout the course of your weight loss program, your body struggles to maintain a balance between energy in and energy out and so a weight loss plateau is almost inevitable.  Many factors can contribute to your weight loss success including lifestyle habits, dietary trends, and your level of activity.  Luckily, research has provided us with clues on how to break through these program obstacles that you may face most notably adaptation to your exercise program.

If you are following a regular exercise program, in time your body will adapt to the stress of your workout.  This can minimize your weight loss efforts because in order to see consistent weight loss, you must provide your body with a reason to change.

Try modifying your program every 3-5 weeks.  Something as simple as changing up the order of the exercises you perform or increasing the number of sets or reps can help maintain the momentum of your weight loss.  Other ideas include reworking your program intensity or increasing the amount of minutes you perform on the cardiovascular machines.  For more great ideas to breakthrough your plateau and to get your very own free customized training program, visit www.one80.com now!
