pastry

The Holidays are traditionally a weight loss plan’s worst enemy.  Constant festivities combined with endless amount of food and drink help to rack up your total caloric intake pretty quick.  Weight loss is all about positive energy balance and if you create a surplus of energy by overeating more food than your body needs, you will gain weight.  So in order to keep your weight loss plan in check and prevent further damage, remember to always avoid high fat foods.

Throughout your holiday adventures you will come accross a variety of food items to choose from.  Ultimately you you have the final say in what you eat or do not eat.  If you are trying to lose weight then it is in your best interest to avoid the high fat foods.  High fat food items can be found in fried products, cream-based soup, cheese-filled casseroles, pies, processed meats such as salami and sausages, some pastries and baked goods.  If you can make a conscious effort to avoid these foods, you will be able to lose weight faster.
