Have A Guilt Free Holiday: Top 5 Reasons Eat Chocolate For Better Health

It is the happiest time of the year and the most chocolaty.  Well it is true that chocolate can be dangerous on your waistline it is a truly healthy snack.  Check out the many reasons to eat a little chocolate - but remember not to over-indulge and try not to eat more than 1 oz a day.

1.  Anti-oxidants.  Dark chocolate has more disease fighting anti-oxidants than red wine.

2.  Stress Relief.  Dark chocolate releases endorphins, the feel good hormones.

3.  Have a healthier pregnancy.  Dark chocolate can prevent dangerous preeclampsia during pregnancy.

4.  Prevent heart disease.  Dark chocolate containing 70% cocoa can improve blood flow and prevent heart disease.

5. Fight Pain. A small dose of dark chocolate may help reduce pain.
