A) One80.com provides programming, educational tools, and social networking that teaches users how to achieve and maintain a healthy lifestyle, which includes good nutrition and daily physical activity for all individuals regardless of our differences. One80.com is a personal trainer, an equipment free home gym, a nutritionist, a motivating social network and an educational support system, at your fingertip, in your home, all for free. Q) What is the feedback button on the right side of the page?

A) We are currently in a beta (test) stage of development here at one80.com and we are very interested in our users experience using the site. Please feel free to tell us about any ideas you may have or bugs that you found to help us improve your user experience by clicking on this link and telling us about it.

Q) How Do I Signup?

A) Creating an account with One80.com is easy and free. You can signup on the main homepages or CLICK HERE to register now.

Q) How Do I Invite A Friend?

A) Inviting your friends is easy. If you are a member at the bottom of every page there is a "tell a friend" click this and then you can email individual friends or even import your friends from your favorite free email contacts.

If you are not a member you can click on the "Invite My Friend" image on the front main homepage. You can Enter your Name, Email Address, and Gender to start, then manually enter your friend's info or use the contact query tools to send invites to your friends.

My Gym:

Q) I have a physical limitation or injury; can I still participate in your program?

A) Yes you certainly can. We have provided a special section for you to inform us of any functional limitations that may affect your ability to perform in your new workout program. Simply click on the "my gym" tab from your personal profile and above your program on the right-hand side you will see the "physical limitations" are

A) Check the option that applies to you and we will tailor your new program around your needs. *As a precautionary measure, don't forget to check with your doctor and get clearance before starting any new program.*

Q) Do I need any kind of equipment to complete my training program?

A) No you do not need any equipment to get started and start seeing results. If you do have some equipment available and would like to make use of it in your new program, you can select to include it and it will be incorporated into your new plan. Simply click on the "my gym" tab from your personal profile and above your program you will see the "Available equipment" option. Check off the options that apply to you and we will tailor your new program according to your availability. The more pieces you have available, the more variety you will find in your program.

Q) How much will it cost for me to purchase the optional pieces of equipment?

A) If you go to your local big box store you should be able to find each of these for $20 or less. Remember that the more options you have available the more variety you will find in your program but it is not essential and you can still make progress and see results without it if you so choose.

Q) I have no access to any pieces of cardio equipment; can I still successfully use the program?

A) Yes our program is ready for any and all workout scenarios. Walking is one of the most popular activities along with biking or jogging as well. Running in the spot or stairs are also good options if you want to stay indoors. If over the course of your program you gain access to any new cardiovascular modalities you can simply change your preferences to give yourself more variety in the program.

Q) How do I change my workout preferences?

A) If you click on the "my gym" tab from your personal profile once you are logged in you will see a green bar running along the top of your exercise routine that says "Click here to edit your workout preferences". If you click here you will be able to modify your health goals, number of times you wish to exercise per week, how much time you want to devote to each session, and your cardio options.

Q) I have never worked out before, where do I begin?

A) We have made it our goal to make your transformation process go as smoothly as possible. Once you have entered in your workout preferences we have gone and done all of the work for you and created a detailed outline of everything that you are required to do in order to achieve your goals. Each exercise comes complete with animated illustrations, detailed descriptions, and a full featured video to guide you through the routine. For more information, you can refer to the "F.I.T.T. Principles" located beneath your program for supplementary instructions.

Q) I am an avid fitness fanatic, can I still benefit from this program or is it just for beginners?

A) Yes this program is accessible to users of all shapes, sizes, and workout goals and we will completely customize your program to suit your specific training needs. We have a large database comprised of over 164 billion unique workouts ranging from beginner to elite and even Olympic level so you are sure to get a challenging workout no matter what your previous exercise history.

Q) I have completed my first week's workout, how do I progress to week 2?

A) Once you have completed your workout for the week go to your "my gym" page and click on the "week is finished" button located above your program to the left-hand side to take you to the following week's program.

Q) What are the F.I.T.T principals at the bottom of the page beneath my fitness program?

A) Below your program you are given additional information to help guide you through that specific week's workout. The F.I.T.T. Principles detail certain components of your workout including the frequency, intensity, time, and type of workout you will be doing that week. To the right of that you will find your target heart rate for the week. Based on your age and training goal you are given a range to help guide the intensity levels of your cardio sessions. If your heart rate rises above this range, slow down or, speed up if your heart rate is below this range in order to achieve optimal results.

Q) I workout in a gym, how do I bring my workout program to the gym with me?

A) At the top of the page click on "file" and then click on "print" in order to have a hard copy of your program to take with you to the gym.

My Kitchen:

Q) I have allergies and food limitations, can I still use this program?

A) Yes above your meal plan in the my kitchen section you will see the heading "Allergies." Check the tabs that apply to your needs to have your program customized accordingly. You will need to log out and log back in for these preferences to take effect.

Q) I am a vegan, is this program good for me?

A) Yes our program is designed to suit the needs of all people regardless of their food preferences with a database stocked with hundreds of meals to choose from. Even if you prefer to input your own recipes into your meal plan, our team of qualified experts will approve or modify your recipe accordingly to make your new meal plan as personable as can be.

Q) Do I have to eat exactly what you tell me to eat?

A) Once you have set your health goals and food preferences, we will present you with an optimal week of eating to get you to achieve the results you are looking for in the fastest most efficient amount of time. If you don't like a particular recipe listed you can simply decrease your likeness for a particular ingredient to have it show up less or simply refresh the entire recipe and swap it for a new one.

Q) Can I interchange the meals in my plan?

A) Each meal presented in your plan is strategically placed based on time of day, caloric value, and training goals so it is not recommended that you swop meals within your plan. Instead, simply scroll over the meal and click on "refresh" to have a new meal show up of equal value and specific importance.

Q) When I select a food in the allergy and food preference section it does not change anything in my meal plan immediately?

A) Once you have changed or added a new preference to your food choice or allergy list you will need to log out and then log back into your account in order to have the changes come into effect.

Q) Do I have to select my food for the day or for the entire week?

A) Once you finished making your changes and have saved the meal plan for the week you can no longer modify it.

Q) What happens if I slip up and eat off of the prepared meal plan?

A) What we provide here for you is the perfect week of eating and essentially the fastest route to your results! If you happen to mess up one day, do not get discouraged. Just make sure you get back on track with the next meal or the next day so as to minimize the damage and continue making improvements.

Q) My grocery list and my meal plan are specifying very precise food quantities?

A) Your meal plan is scientifically formulated to give you the most optimal results in the smallest amount of time possible. With that in mind do your best to be as specific as you can without inconveniencing yourself. You do not have to weigh everything but try to be as close as you can with your portions. If you have trouble rounding up the quantities by eye, then try to use the measuring utensils as often as possible in the beginning and in time with practice you will grow to learn the average measurement sizes as you progress.

Q) Can you explain the graphs at the bottom of my meal plan?

A) Below your meal plan you will see the nutrient and food group make up for that particular month, week, or day depending on what you have clicked on. Essentially this acts as a guide to represent the recommended daily intakes or vitamins, minerals, and the 5 five food groups versus what you are actually going to be eating on this plan.

Q) I have some favourite foods but I don't see them listed anywhere here in my meal plan, can I still eat them?

A) Yes we will definitely try to incorporate all of your favourite recipes into your new meal plan to help customize it and make it your own. To add a recipe, simply click on the "recipes" button located above the meal plan and its corresponding calendars. Then click on "add a new recipe" to start adding ingredients. Once you have finished adding all of the ingredients and accompanying cooking instructions (if any), click on submit and your recipe will be sent off to our administrators to approve or modify your recipe according to your goals. Once approved it will then start popping up in your plan from time to time.

Q) I have a few favourite recipes and I was wondering if they are healthy or not?

A) To have your recipe evaluated, simply click on the "recipes" button located above your meal plan in the "my kitchen" section. Then click on "add a new recipe" to start adding ingredients. Once you have finished adding all of the ingredients and accompanying cooking instructions (if any), click on submit and your recipe will be sent off to our administrators to approve or modify your recipe according to your goals and it will then start popping up in your plan from time to time.

Q) How far ahead can I plan my meal plan?

A) The program allows you to plan many months ahead at a time. We recommend that you plan ahead as often as you do your grocery shopping so as to maintain a fresh supply of your favourite foods at all times.

My Community:

Q) What are the forums for?

A) The forums are a message board used as an educational system intended to teach you the basics and help you create and maintain your new lifestyle. Here you can share your thoughts and ideas on your program, find other people with the same topics in common, ask questions, get advice, or even give advice.

Q) I have a question but don't see the answer, how do I ask my question?

A) It is easy to ask a question in the forums. First choose a forum that categorizes your question. Then click on "new thread" to ask your question. Each time someone posts a reply you will be notified by email of the response.

Q) How do I search the forums?

A) Above the forum page you will see a green tool bar. Towards the right of that bar you will see the "Search" button, if you click it you will then be able to enter a keyword (s) to see if there are any current relative topics.

My Profile Page:

Q) Is the information I enter into my profile kept private?

A) On your profile page you have the option of setting your privacy settings. Within each sub-category on your profile page you will see a "menu" button to the right of each tool bar. Here you can allow your buddies, the public, or nobody to see your information for each section.

Q) How do I track my progress?

A) Under the "my stats" sub-category on your profile page you will see a big yellow arrow under your weight chart titled "Enter new measurements." Click this button to input your personal data in inches to see the results displayed on your stats chart. Remember that you can set your preferences here to allow who has access to view your stats by clicking on the menu button above the stats section.

Q) How do I measure myself?

A) Simply get yourself a tape measure and wrap it around the areas specified in the chart. Only flex your muscles for the measurements that instruct you to do so, all other measurements should be taken relaxed.

Q) How come my body fat is not showing up in my chart?

A) In order to have your body fat displayed in your stats section you need to enter in the required information. If you click on the yellow arrow titled "Enter new measurements" those measurements required to calculate your body fat will be highlighted in yellow.

Q) What is BMI and why does it change?

A) BMI stands for body mass index and is a scale based on your height and weight used to categorize your body mass relative to a healthy population. As your weight changes, your BMI will either increase or decrease based on your progress.

Q) Is my BMI within a healthy range?

A) A body mass index of 18.5-24.9 is considered healthy. Anything less that that is considered underweight and anything above this range is deemed overweight. Your BMI score may overestimate body fat in athletes. This scale may also underestimate your body fat in the elderly. This scale is also not appropriate for women who are pregnant or breastfeeding.

Q) What is a good body fat range?

A) A good body fat range for men is between 10-20% depending on your age. Anything over 25% is considered overweight. For women, a healthy range is between 21-33%. Anything over 30% is considered overweight.

Q) What are workout buddies?

A) Workout buddies are friends, acquaintances, or colleagues that you know who also use one80.com. You can message each other, see how they are progressing on their respective programs, view pictures or even view their meal and training programs to see what has worked for them. You can set your privacy settings to manage who can see your personal data at all times if you desire. You can add workout buddies that are not one80.com members by using the add friends on your main profile page.

Q) How do I get more workout buddies?

A) There are 2 ways to add workout buddies. You can search for friends who are already using one80.com through the "my community" tab. Simply click on "browse profiles" to see a list of users. Alternatively, you can add workout buddies through your online email accounts. To do this, click on the "tell a friend" button located in the footer at the bottom of the page. From there you can enter in your MSN, Yahoo, AOL, or gmail email accounts to invite your contacts to become your workout buddies and start a health profile of their own!

Q) When I upload my picture why does it ask for "pounds"?

A) When you upload a picture we want to know how much you weighed in that photo so you can track your progress and see how you have changed in future pictures. We recommend that you take photos of your body from the front and from the side so you can see the difference over time. There is a privacy setting available here if you prefer so only those you designate can have access to this information.

Q) Who is Marc and why is he my workout buddy?

A) Marc is your personal trainer and the one who will be guiding you through your transformation process!

Q) Can Marc see my profile?

A) Marc only has access to the information you make public. He has the same access as the rest of your workout buddies.

Q) Can I ask him questions about my program and if so, how do I go about doing that?

A) Marc is here to help and welcomes any and all questions. To ask him a question, simply click on his profile and in the top right-hand corner above the green box titled "workout buddy" you will see a link to "Send Marc a question." Once you have clicked that link you will be sent to a private messaging area where you can set a title to your message, adjust the font and even add smiley's! When you're done, click on "submit message" and he will be notified of your question.

Q) What is "my blog entries?"

A) Here you can write about your feelings and experiences using the program. This can be a good tool for motivation, keeps track of your mood, changes in attitudes, helps to evaluate your progress, and may inspire someone else to follow the same path you are on. You can set your privacy settings here as well to only allow access to your friends, make it public, or keep it to yourself.

Q) What is my video?

A) Here you have the option of adding videos of yourself working out, performing a new exercise or whatever else you may want to post. You can set your privacy settings here as well to only allow access to your friends, make it public, or keep it to yourself.

Q) What is the "More about me" section for?

A) Here you have room to add additional information about yourself if you like and elaborate on your profile to customize it further.

Q) Who are the people that "recently viewed me?"

A) Anytime someone navigates to your profile they will be tagged in this section. This will allow you to see who has viewed your profile.

Q) Can people see that I looked at their profile?

A) Anytime you look at someone else's profile your profile picture will pop up in their "recently viewed me" section. If you prefer, you can turn on "invisible mode" to disable this feature off.

Q) What is my guestbook used for?

A) This is a quick messaging service that you can use to leave someone a message on their personal profile. You can set your privacy settings here as well to only allow access to your friends, make it public, or keep it to yourself.

Q) How do I send someone a private message?

A) To send someone a private message, simply click on their profile and in the top right-hand corner above the green box titled "workout buddy" you will see a link to "Send them a question." Once you have clicked that link you will be sent to a private messaging area where you can set a title to your message, adjust the font or even add smileys! When you're done, click on "submit message" and they will be notified of your message.

Q) What is the "today's kitchen" represent on my profile page?

A) Once you have adjusted and saved your meal plan, each day a brief overview of all the food you are prescribed to eat that day will be summarized and displayed in this section. You can set your privacy settings here as well to only allow access to your friends, make it public, or keep it to yourself.

Q) What is week's gym?
