Matthew F. Power serves as President of Arrowhead Specialty and Executive Vice President of Arrowhead Intermediaries, where he oversees a diverse portfolio of specialty solutions spanning affinity and administrative services, captives, reinsurance, travel and accident, warranty, and life and health. Under his leadership, Arrowhead Specialty operates as a strategic partner to clients—delivering tailored programs, innovative risk structures, and operational excellence that enable sustainable business growth.

Mr. Power joined Arrowhead in 2025 through the acquisition of One80 Intermediaries, where he was the Founder and President. Since One80’s inception in 2019, he guided the organization through a period of remarkable growth and diversification, establishing it as a premier specialty distribution platform recognized for its innovation, entrepreneurial culture, and market agility.

With more than four decades of insurance industry experience, Mr. Power has held senior executive roles across underwriting, program management, and distribution. Prior to founding One80, he served as Executive Vice President for one of the industry’s most respected and financially stable excess and surplus carriers, where he was instrumental in driving profitable growth and expanding national reach.

Mr. Power holds an undergraduate degree from the University of Massachusetts and completed postgraduate studies at Harvard Business School. He is an active leader in the business community, serving on the boards of The New England Council, The Greater Boston Chamber of Commerce, and the University of Massachusetts College of Management Advisory Board.
