FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE — April 4, 2024

The Independent Carrier Safety Association (ICSA) is pleased to announce that it recently entered into an agreement with One80 Intermediaries to bring exclusive insurance benefits to ICSA’s valued members. One80, whose heritage dates back to 1957, has extensive experience in transportation insurance as a wholesale broker and program manager.

Chartered in September 2019, ICSA is a non-profit organization whose goal is to improve highway safety by engaging single-truck operators and small fleets in its safety mission. ICSA not only helps carriers access cost-effective comprehensive insurance coverage packages, but also provides its members with no-cost safety consulting to ensure small fleets and single-truck operators are doing everything they can to reduce risk and crashes.

One80’s specialized expertise in transportation insurance is helping us develop and refine insurance coverage packages tailored to match the unique needs of ICSA’s members.

– ICSA’s Chairman of the Board, Brett Sant.

“From our very first discussion, One80 embraced ICSA’s safety programs that have proven their value in reducing the number and severity of crashes,” Sant said. Such requirements, including mandatory ICSA membership, hair testing drivers for drugs, using forward-facing event recorders, integrating carriers’ safety data and no-cost safety consulting were key factors in One80’s interest in becoming the chief underwriter for compliant ICSA members, he said.

“With their production partners and ICSA’s ongoing emphasis on safety, One80 will help ICSA members navigate the complexities of insurance and risk management,” Sant said.

“Our programs provide peace of mind and help carriers do what they do best – delivering goods safely and efficiently,” Sant concluded.
